Fall Fest

Saturday, September 27 was a perfect day for the Laurens Fall Fest. In addition to opening the museum to the public, we set up children's activities on the front lawn. Kids peeled apples with the museum's apple peeler, shelled corn by hand and made corn husk dolls, cracked nuts, made a button and string toy and sampled ginger water. We were busy most of the afternoon and some children came back to repeat their favorite activity. Here are some photos of the fun.
