Festival of Trees

The museum is once again joining the fun of the Laurens Festival of Trees. We decorated a tree called "Merry Marketing" using local promotional items found in the museum's collection. There's a lot to look at on this tree!

Connie Dallenbach helped the fifth graders again this year with a "Frontier Tree" displaying popcorn, berries, cones, buttons and cookie decorations along with corn husk dolls under the tree. You've got to love the hair-dos on those corn husk dolls.

Check out these two trees along with all of the beautiful and clever trees and Christmas decorations displayed at the Laurens United Methodist Church at 201 W. Main. The Festival of Trees is free and open to the public each Saturday and Sunday in December from Noon-7 pm.
