happy recipients at the awards program
We are quite pleased at receiving a grant of $740 from the Pocahontas County Foundation. We will be using the funds to purchase display and archival materials for the museum.
The city of Laurens also received a grant to install a basement drainage system in the Carnegie Library building. This is the building where the museum is located. This is terrific news after years of a wet basement. We are so thankful for the help!
