In Grandma's Kitchen

We've displayed items from the museum's kitchen exhibit at the Pocahontas Public Library.

There's a glass butter churn, a butter paddle, and a butter mold.  They make a stick of butter bought at the grocery store seem pretty boring. You can also see an apple peeler and a wicked-looking cherry pitter, as well as some unusual lidded canning jars. We left the jar of 90 year old cherries at the museum. You'll have to come to the museum to see them!

The silliest thing in the display is the Dutch girl string dispenser with the string coming out of her mouth. It will surely make you smile.
