Museum volunteers recently challenged the students in Mrs. Boettchers fifth grade class at the Laurens-Marathon School  to imagine how life would have been for them if they had been kids in 1900.The program traced the life of a kid at the turn of the 20th century from sun-up to sun-down. It was peppered with stories about "Mean Ole Mr. Rooster" and just what happened to the leavings in the outhouse.  Students were given a chance to try out some of the artifacts that were brought along.
